This workshop is intended to help boards of directors understand how to perform their oversight role more effectively particularly as it relates to strategic planning and risk management. This high level forum for North Carolina state-chartered bank boards of directors offers attendees a setting to interact with leading experts and fellow bank director colleagues on effective board oversight processes in light of the rapidly changing business environment and emerging regulatory requirements. Sessions will closely examine best practices, tools, and techniques and the board’s involvement in strategic planning and value creation in today’s challenging economy.
