Pre-Retirement Planning in the Workforce Symposium
Pre-retirement planning is more important now than ever as millions of Baby Boomers in America are beginning the transition from the workforce into retirement. Employers recognize that the decisions their employees make in their pre-retirement phase are critical to their economic well-being in retirement.
Participants at this one-day Pre-Retirement Planning in the Workforce Symposium will learn about best practices in workplace-based financial education, program assessment and other related topics as they discuss these topics with nearly 20 leading practitioners and academic experts in the field. Specifically, participants will receive:
- Information regarding the need for and value of employer-provided financial education
- A process for determining employee preferences for such programs
- A methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of your existing programs
- The opportunity to network with other professionals and academic leaders on this topic
This event has been organized by Robert Clark, professor of economics and management, innovation, and entrepreneurship at the North Carolina University College of Management, who has conducted extensive research in the areas of retirement and pension issues.
