Alpha Kappa Psi, the business fraternity at North Carolina State University College of Management, is hosting its 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament this coming Sunday, April 5. The event will be held at the River Ridge Golf Club in Raleigh, N.C., and begins with a shotgun start at 12 noon.

“We hold this event as a fundraiser for charitable causes,” said Mariesa Carrow, AKP-Lambda Omicron president. This year, the fraternity hopes to raise $6,000, a large portion of which will be donated to the American Cancer Society. In the past, proceeds have been donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

The fraternity reserves a portion of the funds raised to cover other events, including an Etiquette Dinner, the AKP Alumni Tailgate, and student attendance at the AKP National Convention

The golf tournament is organized into 18 teams of four golfers each. “We still have room for additional teams to sign up,” Carrow said.

To register or for additional details, contact Carrow directly via email. Directions to the River Ridge Golf Club.
