While looking for ways to become more involved on campus, I didn’t want to overlook the opportunities that were in front of me to lead within the College of Management.
The Peer Leaders organization includes 40 leaders who mentor over 400 freshmen. I think this is a great way to meet other students within the college and to help others. Over the summer, I spent lots of my time in the Undergraduate Office and have enjoyed getting to know some of the deans and advisors on a personal basis.
I’ve come a long way since I was a nervous freshmen, and I’m glad I have a chance to help others as they start their time at NC State.
