1. What information is required for the MAC Program Application?

  • Graduate school application

  • Personal Statement
  • 3 Recommendation Letters (translated)

  • TOEFL Score
  • GMAT Score
  • Admissions fee ($75)
  • Financial statement certifying that you can meet all costs of your graduate program

2. Do you accept the GRE?

No.

3. Does your program waive the TOEFL?

No.  However, if you meet one of the criteria listed on the following website you may not be required to take the TOEFL: http://www.ncsu.edu/grad/handbook/sections/2.3-grad-admissions.html#O

4. Do you require that students complete all seven prerequisites before admitting them to the program?

Students should have completed the majority of their prerequisites (2-4) with a grade before applying to the program. We need to review your academic success in the prerequisites you have completed in order to admit you to the program. If admitted, all seven prerequisites must be completed by the time MAC classes start in the fall.

5. If my degree was in accounting, do I still need to take prerequisites?

Yes. If you completed your degree in another country, even if it was in accounting, you are still required to take three of the seven prerequisites. Even if you took ACC 330, ACC 450 and BUS 305 overseas, these three classes must be taken in the United States.

6. Do you offer enrollment in the spring?

No. We only admit students in the fall.

7. What is the tuition?

8. Do international students qualify for scholarships and fellowships?

Yes, any student that applies prior to February 1st (the first admissions deadline) will be considered for scholarships and fellowships.
