Hometown and past work experience

I am from Hillsborough, NC. I worked as a cashier in a sporting good store, assistant to a realtor and volunteered with an after-school program at an elementary school.

Why did you choose the NC State MAC Program?

My undergraduate advisor spoke very highly of the program so I visited campus to learn more and to meet some of the staff and students. I really enjoyed my experience. I am also from the Raleigh area and wanted to move back to be closer to family and friends.

What are your expectations while attending the MAC Program?

I expect to learn a lot from quality professors, meet and make new friends, form networking connections, and study for and pass a few sections of the CPA exam.

What are you looking forward to most while in the program?

I am looking forward to spending time getting to know the nice people associated with the program that I have already met while going through the admissions process.

Do you have any advice or tips you would like to give prospective students looking at applying to MAC programs?

Be enthusiastic about why you want to attend the program, make all of your accomplishments known, and show how you are unique and will prosper in the program.
