Thank you to all who volunteered for our focus groups. We received a lot of great feedback- we appreciate all of your comments and suggestions! If you were unable to attend and have some feedback please email Kathy or stop by her office.
THURSDAY NIGHT - INSTITUTE OF INTERNAL AUDITORS STUDENT NIGHT
The Institute of Internal Auditors Student Night will be held on Thursday, April 17. The event will begin with a networking reception in the Student Commons Area of Nelson Hall at 5:00 pm. Then the panel will occur from 5:30-6:30 in Room 4210. Please see the flyer below for more information.

ACC 200/210 Reception
The Accounting Department is hosting a reception for invited ACC 200/210 students on Tuesday, April 22 at 4:30 pm. The reception will be held in the Brown Room of the Talley Center. We would love to have some students represent the MAC Program at this reception. Your help is appreciated in answering student questions about the program and providing more information.

We are working on a new alumni database and want to make sure your information is included.
JUNE 12 - ALUMNI & NEW STUDENT SOCIAL
SAVE THE DATE - An official invitation will be going out in May. As new alumni you are invited to the attend our Alumni and New Student Social on Thursday, June 12 at Hi 5 Restaurant and Bar, Glenwood Avenue, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Please try and come out to socialize with fellow alumni and the new MAC Class of 2008. I am sure the new class would love to meet you all!
CAKE DAY - BIRTHDAYS & END OF YEAR CELEBRATION
Please mark it on your calendars. We will have our last cake day on Wednesday, April 23 - 12:30 pm - MAC Lab. The MAC Program will supply the cake this time around to help celebrate the end of the year, April birthdays and all summer birthdays! If you would like to bring in something to share feel free!
NET IMPACT SUSTAINABILITY SYMPOSIUM
The Net Impact Sustainability Symposium will be held Friday, April 25th from 3:00 - 4:30
in the Nelson Hall Auditorium (rm 3400). The event is open to the public. Please read the flyer for more information.

GRADUATION INFORMATION
Graduation will take place on Saturday, May 10. The College of Management ceremony will take place after the big university graduation at the RBC Center around 11:30 am. The ceremony typically runs a little late due to the large number of people at the first event. More detailed information will follow soon.

ADDRESS AND NAME CHANGE UPDATES
VERY IMPORTANT- All graduates need to update their addresses with the university through PackTracks. Graduation information and diplomas are mailed to the address that Registration and Records has on file. The same goes for student names. If a student has gotten married, divorced, or had a name change for any other reason-- please remind him/her to submit a name change request to Registration and Records. The student's name as it appears in the university system is what will print on the diploma. Please have all students check in PackTracks to make sure their information is correct. If there are changes necessary, all changes are submitted to Registration and Records.

CPA EXAM REGISTRATION & REVIEW
IMPORTANT...if your BEC notice to schedule did not include the Audit exam, please make sure to register now! If you are planning to take the Audit section of the CPA Exam in May and the Financial and Regulation sections in July/August, it is time to register for these sections with the North Carolina State Board.
For those of you who registered for and took Business Environment in January/February, you should use a Re-Exam Application for the exam, since the State Board already has you in the system. If you haven't registered for or taken any sections of the exam yet, you need to file an initial application. You can find the forms at: http://www.cpaboard.state.nc.us/

AUDIT REVIEW - MAY 5-7
If you will be attending the Audit CPA Review and have not already emailed Andrea to let her know you will be there, please do so by April 16.

CPA Review 2008 Summer Schedule
Wiley CPA Exam Review Practice Software is installed on the two computers closest to the windows in the MAC lab. Please take advantage of this software to study this spring and summer.
