The BioSciences Management Initiative provides management education and resources for professionals working in all industries impacted by biotechnology. Its leadership team works with the NC State Jenkins MBA program to build curricula that provide technology and business students the skill sets they will need to manage effectively in this critical set of industries.
Working with the Jenkins Graduate School through the Biosciences Management concentration of the Jenkins MBA program the BioScience Initiative is helping develop the skills of new leaders new leaders and innovators of these industries to be cognizant of, and sometime fluent in biotechnology; importantly, they learn to understand how these technologies impact traditional business models.
The BioSciences Management Initiative also presents the Annual BioSciences Forums. These meetings provide a venue for key industry leaders to discuss today’s management issues with students, faculty, entrepreneurs, investors, and others.
The College of Management’s BioSciences Management Initiative will provide the education and experiential platform for acquiring the skill sets necessary for effective management of the biosciences industries.
