Congratulations to Team Ligamar, also known as the “Gazelle Hunters,” for placing in three events in the Inaugural eGames. The team received a Silver in Athena, a Bronze in Apollo, and a Silver in Calliope.

The NC State University Entrepreneurship Initiative (EI) is proud to present the eGames – an Entrepreneurship Olympiad. The eGames are a celebration of the spirit of student entrepreneurship across all colleges and disciplines at NCSU. The purpose of the eGames is to act as a catalyst for bringing together student entrepreneurs in the spirit of creative competition and to foster a university-wide entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Students may compete individually or as part of a team. Teams may be made up of any number of students; however, a maximum number of 7 students per team may compete on the day of competition (4/25/2009). In keeping with the spirit of the competition, the eGames are only open to NCSU students – undergraduate, graduate, full-time AND part-time. While all teams are encouraged to seek out mentors from friends, family, academia and industry, only NCSU students may register and compete on game day.
