Transcripts of Economist Vernon Smith's Presentations Available
Mar. 17, 2005 - Vernon Smith, Nobel-prize winning economist, spoke to standing-room-only crowds as he delivered the first J.W. Pope Lecture at NC State on Wednesday, March 2, 2005.

The colloquium lecture presented to faculty on Mar. 3 on the topic "Constructivist and Ecological Rationality: Principles and Examples” is also available online.
Those attending the Pope Lecture had opportunities to speak personally with Smith at a post-lecture reception held at the College of Management's Student Commons.
In conjunction with the lecture series, Smith spoke with members of the Society for Politics, Economics and the Law (SPEL) student organization at NC State.
This organization is funded through a grant from the Pope Foundation to support education and research in economics and public policy in the College of Management and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at NC State.
