Personal finance forum to explore impact of the world economy and interest rates on the individual
May 17, 2007 - Steve Roberts, U.S. Equity Strategist with JPMorgan, will lead a discussion of how the world economy and interest rates affect the individual. He will be speaking Thursday, June 14, at ‘In the Money,’ a new personal financial forum to be held at the Capital City Club in downtown Raleigh. The forum will begin with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by Roberts’ presentation and discussion at 8 a.m. The program will conclude about 9 a.m.
This new personal finance forum is offered as an informal educational program by Scott and Stringfellow, Inc., and the North Carolina State University College of Management.

Roberts is one of JPMorgan’s leading spokespeople on the markets. He presents his perspective on a wide variety of topics including the economy, financial markets, interest rates, oil, housing and geopolitical issues. Prior to joining JPMorgan in 1996, he was with John Govett Management UK. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England Wales (ICAEW).
